Technology Overkill

Working in the technology sector for almost 20 years, I've seen more than a few examples of technology, automation and computer programming apllied to a situation where it just didn't belong, which has led me to start this blog. Why? Why not! For one, some of the stories are quite entertaining. Two, maybe it will help someone to cancel or re-think something their doing or about to do in regards to applying technology. Third, it might just save somebody's life.

D'oh!
Just the mention of the name Homer Simpson, brings to mind visions of stupidity.

This is for those boneheaded ideas that just might fit into a Simpson's episode and/or the actual bonehead responsible. Names are optional, but discouraged.
